Extract of a letter from Alaric A. Watts to Lady Bulwer, 19th century [manuscript], 19th century.

Watts writes that he has never seen Charles Kean but has been strongly interested by all that he has heard of Kean. He also writes that he has known Macready from boyhood "but he behaved to me on a recent occasion with so much meanness & ingratitude ... that if I continue in the same mind, I shall never speak to him again." Note at heading of letter reads: "Extract of a letter from Alaric A. Watts to Lady Bulwer."
